A Design firm and Antique shop that was established in Nashville, Tennessee in 1958 and re-located to Palm Avenue in Sarasota, Florida in 1985. In 1987 the shop was closed and only the Estate Sales services were maintained and continue until the present day.
Estate Sales
An estate sale is generally held to sell or downsize one's personal property. Some reasons include retirement, relocation, divorce, the combining of two households, or death. If you are the executor of an estate, you may be responsible for the disposal of the contents of an Estate.
We also offer counsel in making the difficult choices of estate disposal while completing the sale in a timely and dignified manner.
Our services include :
- On site organizing, displaying, advertising in newspapers, normally selling in a two day in-house sale, and then when the sale is finished, the furnishing of a list of all major items that were sold and the disposal of all unsold items to either a jobber or the charity of your choice. If given to a charity, a form will be provided you in order to receive a tax credit.
- Internet sales capabilities.
- Arrangements for the handling and shipping of specific bequest in a "Trust or Will" (crating, packing etc.) .
- Re-location services, which include the sorting and selection of furnishings and personal effects needed in the new location as well as all arrangements for the orderly packing and transport and/ or storage.
