Home Staging
is not just about decorating or de cluttering. Home Staging is the art of setting the scene in a house to create immediate buyer interest in the property. It is about highlighting your home's best features, and downplaying its flaws. Your home served you well while you lived there, but if you are selling it, it is a product that must be marketed well to compete with all the other "products". We must now highlight the architectural details of the home and not your decorations. Potential buyers think they can see past ugly decor or empty rooms, but they cannot. We must present the home in good repair, clean lines and give it a "this is home" feeling. Sometimes this is hard to see. It takes someone else. An objective mind with a buyer's eye, to provide you with a specific action plan, to either do on your own or hire us to execute.
Together we will get your house sold at the highest market value.
We’ll help you refine and redesign your living areas to increase the impact of your home’s best features. It takes 10 seconds for a potential buyer to fall in love with a home. And you have only 1 chance to make that first impression.
Our goal is to highlight the lines and architecture of the home. To accentuate all the positives and downplay any flaws.
Home staging takes the guesswork out of what the house could look like, and instead gives the potential buyer a beautifully presented home right on the spot. So now they can picture themselves moving in, and not just moving on.
Our Home Staging
by Design process works in "buyers" and "sellers" markets.
In a buyers market the available listings exceed demand.
Higher inventory of homes means that houses for sale tend to sit for longer periods— house hunters can afford to take their time and be more demanding about what they buy.
When buyers have time and selection on their side, they can be very picky. Obviously, the homes that show the best will sell faster and for more money.
It's easy to see that when there are too many homes on the market the staged home will sell faster than competitors that don't show as well.
In a sellers market, where inventory is lower, more buyers are chasing fewer available homes.
Buyers can't afford to take their time making a decision because many homes are selling fast, often with multiple offers.
With proper home staging or house fluffing, these multiple offers can be driven to sometimes ridiculous levels.
